Privacy Policy

Vocario is provided by Brain Station 23 PLC (“Brain Station 23”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). This policy describes how the public Vocario mobile and desktop applications handle information.

Vocario currently does not require an account and does not collect or store your personal information, recordings, transcripts, or summaries on Brain Station 23 servers.

We may revise this policy before introducing any future feature that changes this practice.

The app may store recordings, imported audio, generated content, preferences, and your Gemini API configuration locally on your device. You control this information through the app and your device settings. Removing the app may remove locally stored information; back up anything you need before uninstalling.

Vocario uses a bring-your-own-key model. When you choose an AI feature, the content needed for that request may be sent directly from your device to Google Gemini using the API key you provide.

Google processes that request under its own terms, privacy policy, retention practices, and usage limits. Brain Station 23 does not control Google’s handling of data. Do not submit content to Gemini unless you have the right and permission to do so.

Vocario may ask for microphone access to record audio and file or media access to import, save, or share recordings. These permissions are used only to provide the feature you request. You can withdraw them in your device settings, although some features may stop working.

Downloading Vocario through Google Play or Microsoft Store involves those providers. They may process device, purchase, diagnostic, or account information according to their own privacy policies. Links that leave Vocario are governed by the destination’s policies.

Because Brain Station 23 does not currently collect your app content or personal information through Vocario, we do not sell that information or share it with advertisers. Content you intentionally send to Gemini is disclosed to Google to complete your request.

Keep your device and Gemini API key secure. Do not share your API key publicly. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, and you are responsible for reviewing recordings for confidential or regulated information before using third-party AI processing.

Vocario is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. A parent or guardian should supervise use by a minor and review the terms of any connected third-party service.

We may update this policy as Vocario changes or as laws and services evolve. We will update the effective date on this page and, when appropriate, provide notice in the app or on this website.
